The Syrian Airlines passenger plane Airbus-320 landed at the Damascus International Airport when Syrian air defense systems fired using missile systems during Israeli attacks, Russian Zvezda TV channel reported.

Russian Defense Minister revealed the minute-by-minute chronology of what happened. The video recordings from cameras located at the air base have been revealed, which captured the moments of plane landing and take-off. 

As reported earlier, Russia claimed the airliner almost fell under the fire of the Syrian army when it repelled an Israeli attack near Damascus.

The plane was taken to a Russian air base, said defense ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov. There were 172 passengers onboard.
