The temperatures of all Members of Parliament of Armenia are being taken at the entrance to the National Assembly, without exceptions.
As reported Armenian News-NEWS.am, antiseptics are placed on all floors of the parliament building so that MPs can disinfect their hands.
According to deputy of the ruling My Step Alliance Hovhannes Igityan, MPs also need to undergo medical checkups for ensuring sanitary-hygienic safety in the building and of the employees and guests. He added that Armenia took these measures after the first case of coronavirus was confirmed.
On Sunday, Armenia confirmed the first case of coronavirus. The patient is a 29-year-old citizen of Armenia who traveled from Tehran to Armenia on February 28. Thirty-one people who have interacted with the infected persons have been isolated at Golden Palace Hotel in Tsaghkadzor. On Sunday, the Prime Minister of Armenia asked people not to leave Tsaghkadzor and panic and informed that there was information that people were leaving the city.
