YEREVAN. – There is a need to import a certain amount of bitumen at the very beginning of road construction. Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan stated this today at the Cabinet meeting, proposing to make this issue a subject of discussion with one of the deputy prime ministers.

"I think we had a problem in connection with bitumen quality, too," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, in his turn. "We need to seize the opportunity to use higher quality bitumen in road construction work in our market and to diversify our markets in that regard in order to have a positive impact on the quality of road construction."
