Former US presidential candidate and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will write a thriller book in collaboration with renowned Canadian writer Louise Penny, publishing house Simon & Schuster reported.

The book entitled 'State of Terror' is scheduled to be released on October 12, 2021. The book focuses on a “novice secretary of state” who joins “the administration of her rival, a president inaugurated after four years of American leadership that shrank from the world stage,” a press release stated. 

In the novel, Ms Clinton’s main character will be tasked with “assembling a team to unravel the deadly conspiracy, a scheme carefully designed to take advantage of an American government dangerously out of touch and out of power in the places where it counts the most,” the press release reads.
