October 15, 2009 a series of attacks in the Pakistani Kohat and Lahore cities killed and wounded at least forty people, ITAR TASS reports.

The militants attacked the building of the Federal Investigation Agencies in Lohat, the north-western part of Pakistan. According to the local authorities, at least seven people died, including four policemen and a bypasser, Interfax informs.

The terrorist blew up an explosive-laden car near the police station killing ten people and wounding twenty others in Kohat, north-eastern part of the country.

“The adversary launched guerilla war with us, however it will not suspend the operations of governmental forces against the militants,” Pakistani Minister of Interior Rehman Malik stated.
