The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Turgumbayev said that about 300 armed people were detained while trying to cross the state border, RIA Novosti reports with reference to his operational headquarters.

The police of Kazakhstan detained about 300 people who tried to leave the country by road and on foot.

“Firearms, stolen property, including cell phones and large sums of money, both in domestic and foreign currency, were seized from them,” the department noted.
