Ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko was jailed for seven years.
The court ruled that Tymoshenko exceeded her powers causing 1.5 billion hrivnas (about $186 million) damage to Naftogaz state energy company.
Yulia Tymoshenko was arrested on August 5. The opposition accuses authorities of political persecution, while the leadership is denying the claims.
