Senators Adam Schiff and Rand Paul, in an interview with NBC News, both noted that the US should be wary of entering into a military conflict with Iran.

He has not received the latest intelligence on Iran, but noted that he is not in favor of a direct military action.

The US should be very careful about getting involved in another war, after the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Schiff said.

For his part, Senator Paul said that he does not consider war a game and that hundreds of thousands of people could die.

He raised the question of whether the war would push Iranians towards nationalism, despite the fact that, in his view, the Iranian regime is extremely unpopular among the population.

It will be very difficult to get out of this situation and reach a negotiated settlement. Only more wars and bloodshed, and it is not the US's business to be involved in this war, Paul said.

Earlier, President Donald Trump did not rule out the possibility of US intervention in the military conflict between Iran and Israel.
