Ukraine and the US have prepared an updated and revised peace framework document following the negotiations held in Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday, according to the joint statement published on the websites of the president of Ukraine and the White House, reports RBC-Ukraine.

The statement notes that Sunday’s negotiations in Geneva between US and Ukrainian representatives on the American peace proposal were constructive, focused, and full of mutual respect, which underscored the shared commitment to establishing a just and lasting peace.

It is noted that the parties deemed the consultations effective.

The parties confirmed that any future agreement must fully respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and ensure a stable and just peace, the statement says.

The Ukrainian delegation once again expressed its gratitude to the US and specifically to President Donald Trump personally for his unwavering dedication and continued efforts aimed at ending the war and saving human lives, the joint document states.

Ukraine and the US agreed to continue intensive work on the joint proposals in the coming days.

Close contact with European partners will also be maintained.

Final decisions regarding this framework document will be made by the presidents of Ukraine and the US, the statement says.

The parties confirmed their readiness to continue working together to establish a peace that will ensure Ukraine’s security, stability, and recovery, the document concludes.
