The agreement on relaxation of visa regime and readmission between Georgia and EU was initialed in Brussels. The agreement was signed by Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Jalaghania and European Commission Deputy Director-General for immigration Jean-Louis de Brouwer, GHN reports.

The agreement will officially enter into force after 9 months upon signature. The businessmen, students, journalists and others can use new visa regime. According to Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze, the relaxed visa regime will enable all Georgian citizens to travel around Europe.
