YEREVAN. – Armenia’s interstate highways and mountain passes are mainly difficult to drive as of Friday at 10.00 a.m.
There is black ice on some roads, Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs adding the Selim Mountain Pass, Berd-Chambarak in the Tavush Region and local roads of Chrambar village in the Aragotsotn Region are closed.
The local roads of Akhpradzor village in the Gegharkunik Region are difficult-to-pass.
Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress. According to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Friday at 10 a.m., the weather has considerably deteriorated in Georgia; and there is low visibility and a danger of avalanche.
The Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Highway is open with some limitations.
