December 4, the ferry sinking on the Daira River killed 47 people in Bangladesh. The passenger craft carrying 200 passengers was hit by a small boat, AP reports.
According to police data, the accident occurred 80km north of country’s capital, Dhaka.
Presently, rescue operations are conducted to find those missing. Accident causes are being clarified.
