Over third of universe is useless from mankind evolution viewpoint, Canadian scientists concluded as a result of opinion survey.

The survey involved all fields – from science and engineering up to ecology and planet rejuvenation, Science.YoRead.ru reports. Thus, scientists arrived at conclusion that over one third of world population neither thinks over technological discoveries, nor follows earth ecology or do something useful, that would help mankind in any way.

Moreover, the scientists were puzzled with knowledge level of such people. None of them could explain the engine structure, how electric energy is generated or how to make gunpowder, while all this is quintessence that helped mankind to reach nowadays evolution.
