December 7, 2009 the twin blasts in Pakistani cities Peshawar and Lahore killed at least 50 people and wounded 100 others.

The first huge blast ripped in Pakistani second largest city, Lahore at 9:00 p.m. local time in a busy market killing 36 people. Tuesday, another 12 died in hospitals. Presently over 100 people are hospitalized, Associated Press reports referring to local authorities.

The attack in Peshawar claimed 9 lives, ITAR-TASS informs.

According to local officials, the remote-controlling explosive device was activated.
