YEREVAN. – There are no students any more in the main school that functions in the Barepat village community of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Region, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“The school has suspended its activities. Furthermore, children are not born in Barepat village for years.

Incidentally, according to official data, the number between those who are born and those who enter first grade in the future in Armenia differs substantially. On the average, the number of first-graders is 1,500 less than the number of children who were born six years ago,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
