YEREVAN. – The technical inspection and auto insurance stickers were missing from the vehicles of numerous representatives from Armenia’s ruling elite, who attended the festive reception held on the day of 21st anniversary of the country’s independence, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.
“We ascertained from Police Public Relations and Media Department Chief Ashot Aharonyan that the owners of the aforementioned vehicles are already fined.
One of the cars was [Control Chamber] CC Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan’s, the other, Central Bank Chairman Arthur Javadyan’s, the third, Jermuk Group [company] director Ashot Arsenyan’s, [and] the remaining five automobiles, as Aharonyan informed, are the vehicles of [National Assembly] NA MPs,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
