Turkish Parliament has passed a motion permitting to conduct cross-border operations, including in Syria, Turkish media reported.

The motion was submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers after the October 3 incident in the border with Syria.

Earlier Turkish media reported referring to the government statement that five people were killed in a Syrian attack in Akcakale province of Turkey. Later Turkish armed forces attacked the targets inside Syria.

In a statement Penathagon said it was closely following the situation.
