YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police received a call from capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, on Friday at around 4am, informing that the pilot of the Moscow-Yerevan Flight No. 907 had asked that the Police be informed that he was threatened, Zhoghovurd daily reports.    

“It was found out that on that day the flight’s passengers, [Russian Federation] RF citizens Artur and Vanik Vayradyan and Rudik Muradyan, [who] already being under the influence of alcohol, continued to drink alcoholic beverages in the aircraft [and] during the flight, they did not heed the cabin crew’s demands, [and] cussed a passenger. Furthermore, they threatened the cabin crew, including the pilots.

The Police confirmed this information adding that the three persons are detained and, now, a report is being made in connection with the incident,” Zhoghovurd writes.
