YEREVAN. – Several roads in Armenia are impossible to drive, as of Monday at 10am.

All of the country’s interstate and national highways as well as mountain passes are primarily open, the Transport and Communication Ministry informs. 

But Selim Mountain Pass and the Tashir-Gogavan motorway are closed, due to strong winds and low visibility, whereas the Norashen-Dzoramut inter-village detour road is difficult to drive.   

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for light passenger vehicles and for buses that seat up to thirty people.
