YEREVAN.- On the first day of election campaign, presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian met with his supporters in center of Yerevan (photos).

Twenty vehicles with a portrait of Raffi Hovannisian were parked nearby.   

Unlike parliamentary election when the party members and activists were holding campaign in one direction, during the presidential race the campaign will be held in 12 districts of Yerevan and the regions simultaneously .

“Raffi Hovannisian may be in any vehicle heading to a district or region. We will not have a fixed campaign headquarters, each of the vehicles will be a campaign office,” deputy chairman of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan said.

He said the press conferences and meetings with voters will be held as well.
