YEREVAN.- Armenian president said head of the state must set high standards for himself.
Incumbent president and presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan met on Tuesday with the voters of Sisian city, Syunik Region of Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.
Whatever is the rank of a manager, he must keep the pace with the needs of people, Sargsyan said.
“If the head of state is undisciplined and undemanding to himself, he can not demand the same from others. It is not for the first time I come to you with a request to trust us. It has become something ordinary to ask people to express their confidence, so that we could continue our programs,” he said, addressing residents of Sisian.
Speaking about last year’s economic indicators, Serzh Sargsyan noted there is still much work to do, at the same time pointing at certain activity in the region and solution to some problems.
