GORIS. – Armenia’s security and the people’s social condition depend on the economic state, incumbent President and presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan said Tuesday during his talk with the voters at Goris city of Syunik Region, Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informs.

“We all want basically the same thing for ourselves: peace, jobs, a decent income, a quality education, and health care. All this together is called a secure Armenia. The absence of one of these components makes our lives become less secure. The problems should be considered as a part of the whole. We will continue the measures toward raising the citizens’ standard of living, and their [that is, of the measures] number will grow.

We will continue renovating the medical facilities in the region, we will improve the education conditions; the nine-year compulsory education will be replaced by a twelve-year education,” the president said. In addition, Serzh Sargsyan noted that the emphasis will be put on providing education loans to the students at the institutions of higher education.
