Unconventional theft took place in the center of the Armenian capital - in broad daylight this Tuesday - a bus stop was stolen.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the witness of the “theft of the century,” a person arrived driving a Lada vehicle to a bus stop near “Express” supermarket on Khorenatsi street, came out of the car, quietly dismantled the bench, loaded up the car and left.

Passengers who were waiting at the bus stop thought the man is an employee of the City Hall. Today, however, it became clear that it was a common theft. The man, apparently, inspired by a classic example of last century’s fictional character Ostap Bender, stole the bus stop with admirable composure in broad daylight. The law enforcement agents are investigating the case. The identity of the impudent thief has already been established. It is still only known that he is 33 years old.
