YEREVAN. – Activities will be carried out this year in Armenia to establish the institution of business mentors in the country. This is noted in the “Support to Small and Medium-Size Business Entities” 2013 program, which the Economy Ministry has submitted for approval during Thursday’s Cabinet session.
Business mentors play a key role in providing assistance to start-up businesses. These mentors are specialists that can provide guidance to business entities, especially at the initial phase of their founding.
In addition, the business mentors are active participants in the local economic development programs.
The primary mission of establishing the institution of business mentors in Armenia will be given to the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center.
