KAJARAN. – We are speaking about quality and affordable education and health care, a lively cultural and sportive existence. We will ensure a higher quality. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia’s presidential candidate—and incumbent President—Serzh Sargsyan stated this on Wednesday during his talk with the voters at Kajaran city of Syunik Region, Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informs.   

“We are creating new mechanisms for resolving the pension problem. We are creating new social benefit plans. But the most important is jobs. We will pay a special attention to environmental issues. Industry, specifically the mining industry, is very god. But the time has passed for developing the industry at any cost, including at the cost of causing an irrevocable damage to nature and human health.

The new approach considers a mindful management of our limited natural resources. Our economic policy of today is directed toward ‘tomorrow.’ But we do not yet possess the capabilities of numerous developed countries; [therefore,] we need to make smart and effective use of our earth entrails,” Serzh Sargsyan noted in particular.
