YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s highways and mountain passes are primarily drivable, as of Friday at 11am, but there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

Also, the Sotk-Karvachar road section in Gegharkunik Region is difficult to pass.

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for buses with chained wheels and which seat up to thirty passengers.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
