YEREVAN. – Armenian presidential contender, non-party affiliate epos specialist Vardan Sedrakyan’s election campaign posters, which were placed in violation of the Electoral Code, are removed, Sedrakyan himself told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

“We had informed, during the very session, that 30 percent are already removed. And the rest were already removed yesterday [Sunday]. That is, we already have cleaned [them up] in three days,” he added. 

To note, Vardan Sedrakyan’s campaign posters did not include any information on their client, printing company, and print-run, which Armenia’s Electoral Code requires. In addition, the code specifies the precise areas where these posters can be placed, and violations were recorded in this respect, too. And during the Central Electoral Commission’s session on January 25, Sedrakyan was given three days to eliminate these violations.
