YEREVAN.- The opinion poll shows that 28 percent of respondents consider attack against Paruyr Hayrikyan a result of domestic political struggle.

Director of Gallup International representation Aram Navasardyan presented on Thursday results of the poll conducted from February 2 to 5.

Twenty percent of respondents believe the attack is a result of domestic political situation, nine percent – result of actions of the external forces, four percent – criminal dispute and two percent of respondents said it was a way to settle personal scores. Two percent of pollees said the attack had an aim to promote candidate’s image, one percent of respondents labeled the assassination attempt as a “show” , while 32 percent found it difficult to answer.
