March 3, Turkish Army General Staff Chief Ilker Bashbug arrived in Bodrum town by a helicopter with his spouse. Thereafter, he headed to the air training facility of land forces next to Bardakci village.

Bashbug held a 1-hour meeting with 12 top-ranking commanders, Turkish Sicakgundem website reports.

Later, he went for a walk to the nearby forest in civvies.

Interestingly, it is General Staff Chief’s second meeting with highlight military officers after the mass arrests of 70 servicemen in Turkey on a charge of planning a coup by Sledgehammer action plan.
