At 30 years old, Scooter, a Siamese feline, has been declared the new world's oldest living cat by the Guinness Book of World Records, ABC News reported. 

Born on March 26, 1986, Scooter lives with his owner Gail Floyd in Mansfield, Texas. 

The owner of the old resident is sure that the secret of longevity of the Scooter consists in his activity and healthy nutrition. The cat likes chicken meat which he's treated to every other day, and he adores  water procedures.

Veterinarians say that Scooter is an amazing cat with strong will to live.  Scooter snagged the record title from 26-year-old Corduroy of Sisters from Oregon.

As practice shows, the mark 30 years is not a limit at all — other Texas cat Crème Puff  lived 38 years and three days.
