Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, and French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault on Thursday conferred on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.
The ministers pointed to the need to continue the negotiation process to achieve a quick political settlement to this conflict, Haqqin.az news agency of Azerbaijan reported citing the ministry of foreign affairs of the country.
In addition, Mammadyarov agreed to France’s proposal to convene a 3+2-format talk, within the framework of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council, in December, in Hamburg, Germany.
The Azerbaijani FM also met with Stéphane Visconti, the new French Co-Chair of OSCE Minsk Group.
