YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) resolution was adopted during Saturday’s 16th RPA congress in capital city Yerevan.
RPA Vice-Chairman Armen Ashotyan introduced the draft of this resolution (PHOTOS).
“The years 2016 to 2018 will be very important for Armenia, from the viewpoint of effectively implementing the provisions of the Constitution.
“Armenia’s economy, the priority of effectively addressing all existing challenges and ensuring long-term socioeconomic development is at the focus of us all.
“Armenia continues to act as an accountable, balanced, predictable and trustworthy country in international relations.
“The position of the party is unchanged: the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] conflict shall be resolved solely through the free self-determination of the people of Artsakh.
“By uniting the human potential and intellectual abilities of our people, we together will surmount the existing difficulties,” the RPA resolution reads, in particular.
