The Ministry of Emergency Situations received information on Saturday at 4:43am.

Accordingly, a pregnant woman was on labor in Shenkani village in Aragatsotn Province, but the dispatched ambulance had stopped at the start of the village due to heavy snow further ahead, and rescuers were needed.

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers arrived at the scene, and carried the woman—named Alina—to the ambulance.

Subsequently, she was taken to hospital, where she gave birth to a baby girl, at around noon.

Shenkani Village Hall informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that both the mother and the newborn are doing fine.

This baby girl is Alina’s firstborn.
