The Azerbaijani authorities, as usual, have lead the case of the detained Russian citizen Ueldanov-Galustyan to absurdity. 

The detainee's sister, Marianna Mirzoyan told about her brother’s critical condition. In her interview with Rusarminfo, she told that yesterday her brother called Krasnodar and requested to submit a request to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office to terminate the investigation.

"My brother told me about the case. He said, that he is in prison in Baku, and that it is killing him. According to him, the investigator will not calm down, unless he turns him into a culprit, "said Marianna Mirzoyan. During that conversation, which took place on January 5, Marat told, that the pain of his stomach ulcer and his health condition overall deteriorated. Although Marat had the right to call his family members every week, they allowed him to call only 4 times during 8 months.

"Marat said goodbye to me. He said, that he would neither write a letter nor call me and requested not to send any parcels. He cried, then someone interrupted the conversation,” said Marianna.

Ueldanov-Galustyan is an employee of the Austrian company Do & Co. The company provides and manages food during trips. Ueldanov-Galustyan was on a business trip to Baku. They couldn’t contact him after that.  Ueldanov-Galustyan is accused of manufacturing, procuring, storing, transporting, or selling large amounts of drugs, psychotropic drugs or precursors.

According to the Russian media, the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan suggested the relatives of the detained to approach to Azerbaijan’s extraordinary policies with understanding, where the ' Armenian origin makes the defense extremely difficult. "
