The German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel thanked the Bundeswehr soldiers who were deployed in Lithuania. “I have a deep respect towards them,” said the Vice-Chancellor, speaking at Rukla military base, reports DW.

" The Baltic countries have serious concerns about the military threat from Russia,” said Gabriel. “The military potential that Russia increased at the borders, in my opinion is unreasonable, since none of these countries pose a threat.” Bundeswehr soldiers will stay in Lithuania as long as necessary.
