Russia has not received any request for the arrest of Nami Kim Jong’ suspected murderers, stated Russia’s Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova, reports TASS.

" It is Malaysia that investigates the murder carried out at Kuala Lumpur airport. We do not have a reliable information about the involvement of the North Korean citizens in that murder, and we have not received any request for their arrest," said Zakharova. She added that Moscow is closely following the investigation and waits for the official results.

Earlier, different media outlets reported that Russia rejected the South Korean request to disclose the whereabouts of Nami Kim Jong’ suspected murderers. According to a diplomatic source, the suspects escaped from Vladivostok, Moscow, Jakarta, and Dubai. Russia rejected the South Korean request because of "insufficient grounds".
