Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is to take part in a meeting of the Azerbaijani, Kazakh and Turkmen Presidents. The informal summit is top be held during the Russian leader’s working visit to Kazakhstan.

Sergey Prikhodko, Assistant to the RF President, told reporters that during their meeting in Aktau and, later, in Kenderli, the four Presidents will discuss issues of mutual interest. “Specifically, they will discuss the problems of energy and of the Caspian region in the context of environmental protection and bio-resources,” Prikhodko said. He douse not rule a private meeting between the Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents.
