U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were received on Tuesday at Buckingham Palace, as they arrived on a state visit to Britain.

They were welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Monsters and Critics reports.

They also met with Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, as well as newly-weds Prince William and Catherine Middleton.

It is the first time Catherine Middleton receives guest as a member of royal family after rurtun from honeymoon in the Seychelles, the Mirror writes.

President’s program involves visit to Westminster Abbey, meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron. A state dinner will be given tonight in the palace.
