The Norwegian army faced a shortage of underwear during the COVID-19 pandemic, said the representative of the Organization for Logistics Support of the Armed Forces.
It was assumed that the servicemen were demobilized in their underwear, but now it must be returned so that the recruits can reuse it.
During the pandemic, the Norwegian military faced supply delays. It used to be a temporary norm to hand over underwear after being laid off, but now it has been introduced on a permanent basis. Problems with the supply of soldiers affected not only underwear. It turned out that soldiers also cannot get shoes that are too large or too small.
