In the Australian state of Queensland, it is now possible to purchase a personal mount. Mount Hallen Upland was put up for sale 100 kilometers from the city of Brisbane, the Daily Mail reported.

Those wishing to acquire a plot of land of 107.2 hectares need to pay only 620 thousand Australian dollars - below the median price for a house in Brisbane. Mount Hallen summit overlooks Lake Vivenhoe and can only be reached by SUV. There is no infrastructure at all on the hill - there is only an old station, which geologists used to create maps of the area. Mostly couples and elderly people live near the mountain, with 2.6 percent of young people in the area.

The previous owners dreamed of living in the mountains and planned to build a retirement home on Mount Hallen, but the construction of such real estate on the site turned out to be problematic, so they decided to come to the site to take a break from city life. However, according to realtors, there is a clearing on the hill, suitable for the construction of a private house.
