WASHINGTON. – Omaima Aree Nelson, who serves life sentence in the Chowchilla prison in California for cannibalism, intends to seek parole.

She killed 20 years ago her husband Philip, 56. She claims her husband raped her the night before she killed him in their Costa Mesa apartment.  Omaima killed her husband a week after their marriage.  According to the file, she cooked parts of his body and fried his hands in oil. Police arrested her revealing dismembered parts in the garbage box near the home. Omaima emigrated from Egypt five years before committing the crime. She worked as a model in Egypt.

Costa Mesa police chief hopes that California authorities will not release the cannibal, MIGnews.com reports.
