November 16, 2009 a blast killed at least three people and wounded 20 others in Peshawar, north-western Pakistan.

A suicide bomber blew up the truck laden with explosives near the checkpoint of the police office, Associated Press reports. Local policemen opened fire on the truck as it approached the police station, however the terrorist could activate the explosives.

The explosion destroyed the building and damaged several mosques and nearby shops, ITAR-TASS informs.

More than 150 people were killed in Pakistan as a result of terrorist acts within the last month.
