YEREVAN. – The owner of a large armory discovered in one of Yerevan’s districts, ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Arshavir Karapetyan is arrested, the press service of the Armenian Police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier, ARF board member Spartak Seyranyan had confirmed to the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am that Arshavir Karapetyan is an ARF member and participated in the Artsakh war. He refused to comment on the confiscation of the arms saying that investigation is still underway.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Armenian policed discovered a large quantity of arms in a construction belonging to Arshavir Karapetyan, 47.

The discovered arms have been sent to expertise.

Investigation is underway.
