YEREVAN. - Four cases of physical violence against journalists occurred in Armenia in 2011, Armenia’s Helsinki Committee informs in the 2011 report in a meeting with reporters on Friday.

The first violence case happened in Hrazdan Stadium in April 23, when the trainer of FC Ararat beat photo reporter Ashot Arushanyan and inflicted jaw injury to him.

The other reporter, victim of physical violence, is Hraparak paper editor Armine Ohanyan, who was beaten by president of Soldier NGO Margarita Khachatryan. The 3rd victim is Haykakan Zhamanak paper reporter Ani Gevorgyan who was inflicted an injury on her hand by a police officer. Photo reporter Gagik Shamshyan was also injured in a car accident scene.
