YEREVAN. – The next test, that is, the elections will be held in Armenia, and they will considerably differ from the previous ones, Democratic Motherland Party Chairman, and the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) member, Petros Makeyan said during a press conference on Friday. He added that this is because there is a serious competition in the upcoming elections, and if the opposition is able to conduct a correct strategy, victory would be inevitable.
In Makeyan’s words, they need to use these elections as a means, in the context of going to the Presidential Office. “These elections must be used to make qualitative changes in the country,” he said.
In Petros Makeyan’s view, one of ANC’s priority challenges is to explain to the people that it must refrain from taking election bribes.
