YEREVAN. – An art exhibition titled “Spring Melody” opened on Tuesday at the Painters’ Union of Armenia. The official opening of the event, which was organized by the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Women’s Council, brought together Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan, capital Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, MPs, and arts and craftsmen.
The exhibition, which opened in connection with March 8—the International Women’s Day—displays 150 works by 120 female painters.
“The woman has her say and tasks in every domain. And those problems that we are raising are getting the chance to be resolved on various levels,” RPA Women’s Council Chairwoman Hermine Naghdalyan noted.
The “Spring Melody” art exhibition is open until March 11.
