December 4, 2009 two Japanese destroyers collided near Shikoku Island in the Pacific Ocean during the anti-piracy exercises.
According to ITAR- TASS, no victims were reported. However, the ships were seriously damaged, Japanese Defense Ministry informs.
The investigation is conducted to clarify the causes of the collision.
