The suicide-bomber activated explosives in the crowded city market, Press TV reports referring to local police. Lt. Col. Ahmad al-Fahal, who headed the city's anti-terrorism and anti-riot force, was among victims. Law-enforcers suppose that he was the target of the terrorist’s attack. Three of his bodyguards were also killed.
