YEREVAN. - Strong earthquake was felt in Vanadzor city of Armenia a few minutes ago. It was also felt in Spitak, Dilijan and Hrazdan and Noyemberyan towns, as well as a number of other communities of the country, Armenian News - NEWS.am correspondent reports.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia confirmed the information about the earthquake, promising to inform about its epicenter and other details shortly.

According to the information of the European Seismological Center, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was on Wednesday recorded in the territory of Georgia, 96 km southeast from Tbilisi.
