Iran has notified the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that it is removing 27 video cameras to monitor its activities at nuclear facilities, said IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

"We have been informed that 27 cameras are being disconnected from the monitoring system in Iran," Grossi said at a press conference in Vienna.

Grossi called it a major challenge for the work of the IAEA in Iran and to be able to confirm that Tehran is in compliance with Iranian nuclear deal on Iran's nuclear program. He added that 40 IAEA cameras remain in operation in Iran.
